The Process-as-Code AI platform for turning organisational knowledge into machine-readable form

The problem we address

Most organisations have already "digitalised" their processes — documents are stored in document management systems, decisions are made according to written guidelines, and compliance with regulations is checked manually. But this information is not usable by artificial intelligence: it is fragmented, non-standardised, and often locked inside PDF files.

For AI to provide meaningful support in decision-making, an organisation's knowledge and processes must be structured, versioned, auditable and machine-readable. Process-as-Code offers exactly that: a standardised approach to building such an environment.

What Process-as-Code does

• Structuring processes — an organisation's internal processes are described in a format AI can read and apply to specific cases.
• Codifying decision logic — criteria, exceptions and escalation paths are described as readable rules.
• Integrating regulatory requirements — legal compliance is linked directly to process steps.
• Versioning and audit trails — every change is documented, making AI-supported decisions auditable.
• Human oversight — the final decision stays with a person; AI prepares, classifies and recommends.

What happens in the regulatory sandbox

Over a 3–6 month period, together with Latvia's AI Centre and the competent authorities, the quality of AI decisions is validated using real public-sector data, the boundaries of automated and semi-automated decisions are explored, and the AI trust chain is mapped from algorithm to specific decision.
